We're making video awesome
In early 2007 we saw the rising need for an elegant video platform. With the release of Amazon's web services, we got to work creating a service which would allow people to easily add user video uploading and streaming into their applications.
Initially Panda was released in 2008 as an open source video encoding solution which is still maintained at Pandastream.org. Over time it became clear that people would find value in a one-click solution which didn't require server configuration knowledge to setup. Panda combines the the core of the open source version with a powerful scaling component which allows you to easily scale to meet demand.

Damien Tanner

Damien is devoted to advancing web technology. Co-Founder of numerous technology companies including New Bamboo, the leading Rails consultancy in London and Pusher which powering the realtime web of the future. His endless passion for technology and eye for design has been a key driver in the growth of Panda. In his spare time, Damien enjoys good coffee and a spot of reading.
Max Williams

Max is a keen technologist and Co-Founder of Panda (as well as New Bamboo and Pusher). When not being generally awesome, Max likes riding his bright yellow bicycle and watching movies.
Vivien Schilis

Coming from low level programming background, Vivien decided a few years ago it was time to stop writing some malloc and start writing some code! When he is not getting the most out of ffmpeg's power, he spends his time dancing Salsa and traveling around the world to meet his Erasmus friends and eat a some good food. Only thing that stops him are insanely cold countries and ultra-spicy Korean food!
